UW World Series

For more than 25 years, UW World Series has been bringing internationally renowned artists to Meany Hall on the University of Washington campus to share their artistic gifts with the Pacific Northwest. Their seasons are comprised of the best contemporary dance companies, world musicians, theater artists, pianists and chamber music ensembles that span the globe.

Many of these artists make their Seattle debuts at Meany Hall. Senegal's Compagnie Jant-Bi, Spain's Corella Ballet and American pianist Lara Downes are but a few of them. Highly regarded companies like Martha Graham, Trisha Brown, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Emerson String Quartet, Trio con Brio Copenhagen and Ladysmith Black Mambazo have also graced the stage, delighting audiences with the highest caliber of artistry available.
