Taproot Theatre

Founded in 1976 by six graduates from Seattle Pacific University, Taproot Theatre Company has become one of Seattle's largest mid-size theater companies. Serving over 150,000 people annually throughout the Pacific Northwest with touring shows and a full mainstage season at their theater in the Greenwood neighborhood, Taproot Theatre exists to create theater that explores the beauty and questions of life while providing hope to our collective search for meaning.

From contemporary favorites to classic reinterpretations some of their shows have included An Ideal Husband, Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol, Around the World in 80 Days, Enchanted April, Man of La Mancha, and many others that have wowed thousands of audience members.
