Seattle Shakespeare Company

Founded in 1991, Seattle Shakespeare Company presents year-round productions of classical plays. In their indoor home at the Center House Theatre at Seattle Center, they produce a season of plays by Shakespeare and other classic authors. In the Summer, their outdoor Wooden O, produces shows in parks throughout King, Pierce and Snohomish counties.

Believing that the plays of William Shakespeare and other classic playwrights are timeless works that cross social and cultural boundaries, Seattle Shakespeare Company produces plays that examine the full breadth of the human experience.
