Seattle Children's Theatre performs in the Charlotte Martin and Eve Alvord Theatres from September through June. Throughout their history, SCT has developed and improved the caliber of plays available for young audiences in the United States and abroad. In fact, SCT has developed and produced over 100 new works for young audiences.

Founded in 1975, SCT is now the second-largest resident theaters for young audiences in North America and among the 20 largest regional theaters in the United States. Winner of Seattle's Mayor's Arts Award, SCT programming reaches approximately 220,000 children, parents and teachers annually with performances that make youngster laugh and cry, think and discuss. Whether it's Lyle the Crocodile, The Wizard of Oz, Hamlet, A Tale of Two Cities or The Neverending Story, SCT provides children of all ages access to professional theater.
